Thanks for all the great descriptions for how you choose to describe your online acquaintances. It seemed that emigo/emiga was the favorite, with Groomzilla the first to mention it. So Groomzilla wins the prize.

Of the 40+ suggestions, several others were well liked, including blend, dot-comrade, URLfriend, n-pal and epal (pronounced like ‘people’).

Okay, emigas (because, really, 95% of you reading this are females, or should I say ‘e-males’? Wait, that would imply males, right? Or electronic messages…This is all so confusing), I’m off to watch Princess Bride with a very confused Alex. Thanks for playing.
