At the time, it never seemed like a good idea to answer that question honestly, as it would've inevitably ended in additional tears from a different set of eyes. The answer, though, was often, 'Yes'.
and it's even more confusing when tell you that they in fact WANT you to be happy:
I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY NOW!

I don't know if I ever got the pointing/crying/querying combo. Best I ever got was two out of three. So my happiness, as you can see, has limits -- at best I'm at 66% of yours.
