Schoolio
Alex supported me through college. We married 10 years ago while I was still a junior at the University of Missouri, studying abroad at the University of Sibiu in Transilvania. And as soon as we got to the States from Romania, she went to work, and kept working through my grad program at South Carolina.
And then it was her turn to go to college.
So I promptly impregnated her.
I blamed it on the smell of those new school clothes.
And after we moved out here from Kansas, she went to work again, to support me as I carried out a fellowship. But I eventually finished. And she eventually got back into school.
I, of course, reacted by promptly impregnating her. This time it was the sexy librarian glasses. Grr.
It’s taken another two years, but now that Alex’s mom lives with us and Tristan is incarcerated in the 1st grade, cell block 110 for most of the day, my wife has returned to school once more.
Today was her first day.
I don’t know what it is.
But she looks really good.
