Drinkies?

For any of you in the Puget Sound area who does any sort of media related work (writing, photography, freelance or otherwise), there is a MediaBistro event coming up this Thursday, June 23. It's an opportunity to show other professionals how many mojitos you can down while getting down, without, er, going down. I attended one of these a while back, and though you're not supposed to 'network,' I wound up walking away with a couple of good freelance writing leads. Click here for the link.

There's also one in Portland next week. Don't know if I'll be attending that one or not.

Although this isn't a 'blog' meet-up, there are often bloggers at these events. In fact, I think if you browse the party photos of the DC event, you might catch a glimpse of her. For whatever it's worth.
